XLA800 SKATE SERIES $229-$239

The XLA800  Skate series uses composite wheel forks. The wheel forks have much better fenders than the original 800 and 900 series skis.  The combination fork and fenders are produced in Du Pont’s™ toughest thermoplastic, further strengthened with the addition of carbon fibers during the injection molding process. The non-metallic wheel forks reduce vibration, and for improved safety, all V2 Roller Skis are designed to accept the patented Jenex speed reducers and brakes.

All V2 aluminum skis are built using  a strong aluminum shaft (6061 T6), produced by one of the most precise extruders in the United States. Prior to Jenex, Inc, we designed many aluminum products for critical military and aircraft applications.  The only extrusion company that met all the specifications imposed by a major military contractor is the same company that now extrudes our roller ski shafts.  The shafts are  protected with a clear anodic coating.

The low-profile wheels are quite stable, the skis are very light and have a short wheelbase.  These attributes make the XLA800 series  an excellent choice for younger, lighter and smaller skiers.
